Are you looking for an interpreter?
Are you hosting an international conference in Austria? Or another international event with a German-speaking audience? Or have you invited a presenter who will be speaking in German?
It is much easier to express yourself in your first language than in any foreign language. If you rely on an interpreter, what you hear will be just as eloquent as the original.
I offer interpretation services on site (in Vienna/Austria/Europe) and via video conference (Zoom, etc.).

What kind of interpreting services do you need?
Every conference, every meeting is unique. You can choose from the following interpreting modes:
- Simultaneous interpreting: Two interpreters translate the spoken word almost at the same time into another language. They do this in sound-proof booths located at the event, or are connected via a video-conferencing platform (Zoom, Webex, …).
- Whispering/chuchotage: This is simultaneous interpreting for one or two people without technical equipment, or for up to 20 people with tour-guiding equipment.
- Consecutive interpreting: While the speaker is delivering their speech (in sections of about 5 minutes), the interpreters note down what they say. The speaker then takes a break and the interpreters translate what was said.
- Dialogue interpreting: The interpreter translates for two people who are parties to a conversation (in certain settings, e.g., in a hospital or at government offices, this is also called “community interpreting”).
On site or via video conference: selected depending on the conference setting you plan (on site, video conference, hybrid event, …) and where the interpretation’s audience is.

Indicative prices (depending on the mode, VAT not included):
half day (max. 4 hours): EUR 400–600
full day (max. 8 hours): EUR 750–900
short assignment (max. 45 min): EUR 250–350

Professional interpreters always work in teams of two, handing over the microphone every 20–30 minutes. In doing this, we make sure that we do not lose concentration and deliver the highest quality throughout the assignment. Upon request, I will gladly contact one of my skilled and experienced colleagues.
It is the client’s responsibility to provide booths or whisper sets for simultaneous interpreting. I’m happy to help and give advice on renting the necessary technical equipment.
